How delivery works
Who delivers, who confirms, and what Friym doesn't do.
Friym doesn't deliver
There's no carrier, no label, no tracking number. The seller ships it themselves, and Friym keeps count of what was declared and confirmed.
The address, and why it's so short
When paying for a physical product, the buyer fills in:
"Tell us where to deliver. The seller uses the phone number to reach you."
Recipient's name, phone number, "Neighbourhood, landmark, directions to find you", city, country.
No postcode, no province, no second line: where Friym operates, a useful address is a description — "X neighbourhood, blue house near the school" — and it's the phone that makes delivery possible.
The address can't be edited after the order
No screen corrects it. That's why a summary is forced on you just before paying. If you got it wrong, only the seller can do anything: call them quickly.
The double confirmation
| Who | What |
|---|---|
| The seller | Taps Mark as delivered — "Do you confirm that this product has been delivered to the buyer?" |
| The buyer | Taps Confirm receipt — "Do you confirm that you have received this product?" |
| The clock | Without an answer from the buyer, the order is confirmed automatically after 5 days |
It's that confirmation that moves the money from the seller's Pending balance to their Available balance.
The phone does the delivering
On the seller's side, the order detail places the address before the payment in reading order, with the Call the recipient button and the advice: "Call the recipient before shipping to confirm the drop-off point."
On the buyer's side, keep your phone reachable in the days after ordering.
What doesn't exist
- ⛔ Shipment tracking, parcel numbers.
- ⛔ Delivery fees calculated by Friym.
- ⛔ Cancelling a paid order.
- ⛔ Choosing quantity: one purchase, one product.
