Shipping an order (seller)
What you do, in what order, and when you're paid.
A paid order appears in your shop's Sales tab, and a commerce notification tells you about it.
Open the order's detail
On the seller's side, the address comes before the payment in reading order. That's deliberate: it's the information you need in order to act.
Call the recipient
The order detail carries the Call the recipient button, and the advice: "Call the recipient before shipping to confirm the drop-off point."
Where Friym operates, a useful address is a description — "X neighbourhood, blue house near the school". It's the phone that makes delivery possible.
Ship it
Getting it there is yours to handle. Friym provides no carrier, no label and no parcel tracking.
Mark as delivered
The Mark as delivered button asks for confirmation: "Do you confirm that this product has been delivered to the buyer?"
The order then moves to Delivered — awaiting buyer.
Wait for confirmation
The buyer confirms receipt, and the order becomes Delivered. Without an answer from them, it's automatically confirmed after 5 days.
Don't mark as delivered before you've shipped
That declaration is what starts the 5-day clock after which the order closes by itself. Triggering it too early puts the buyer in the position of having to react quickly about a parcel that hasn't left.
And above all: the gesture can't be undone. No screen goes back on a declared delivery.
When you get paid
The amount stays under Pending while the order isn't Delivered. It then moves to Available, and leaves on its own once you pass 2,000 FCFA. See When do I get paid?.
What doesn't exist
- No tracking number and no shipment tracking inside Friym.
- No stock, sizes, colours or weight on a product listing.
- A paid order can't be cancelled from the app.
