When do I get paid?
What triggers your transfer, and how long it takes.
You don't have to ask for anything. As soon as a sale completes and your balance reaches 2,000 FCFA, Friym sends the money to your Mobile Money number.
There's no "withdraw my earnings" button to hunt for: it leaves on its own.
Two conditions, and that's all
The sale must be complete
While the order is in progress, its amount shows under Pending. When it completes, it moves to Available — and it's the available balance that goes out.
A sale completes differently depending on what you sell:
- a file — as soon as the buyer has paid. Nothing for you to do;
- a service or an item — you say you've delivered, the buyer confirms. If they don't answer, Friym confirms on their behalf after 5 days.
Your balance must reach 2,000 FCFA
Below that, nothing goes out. But nothing is lost either: the money stays there and adds to your later sales until it passes the bar.
Why wait rather than send straight away? Because every Mobile Money transfer costs something to execute. On 200 FCFA, that cost would eat a good share of the amount. By waiting until you have 2,000 FCFA, you receive your money without paying anything out of your own pocket.
Then, two days
Transfers go out in 48-hour cycles. Once the 2,000 FCFA are reached, your money leaves on the next cycle.
The date shown is only an estimate
Your screen announces "next payout estimated on…". That isn't an execution date: it recalculates every time you open the screen, so it moves. Count on the 48-hour cycle, not on the day displayed.
You never receive more than 150,000 FCFA at once
A transfer is capped at 150,000 FCFA. If your balance is higher, you receive 150,000, and the rest goes out on the next transfer — 48 hours later.
An example makes it clearer. With 370,000 FCFA available, you'll receive 150,000, then 150,000, then 70,000 — across three transfers, so around six days.
The key point: nothing is blocked and nothing is lost, it's simply spread out. You have no steps to take to receive the rest.
If the numbers don't add up, write to us with your @username — we'll look. And
if you want the full mechanism, it's in the
terms of sale.
If you sell in another currency
Both amounts — 2,000 and 150,000 — are in CFA francs. Your screen sometimes shows them in your own currency, in shillings or naira: don't rely on that. The real threshold stays the equivalent of 2,000 FCFA. It's a display fault, already reported.
Tell Friym where to send the money
In your shop settings: your country and your Mobile Money number.
To save or change that number, you need an authenticator app on your account. An emailed code isn't enough.
That's demanding, and it's deliberate: without it, someone who took over your inbox could send your money elsewhere. If you don't have an authenticator app yet, start there — protecting your account takes five minutes.
Your money hasn't arrived?
Check these three things, in order:
- is the order actually complete? If it's still waiting on the buyer's confirmation, the money is under Pending;
- does your Available balance exceed 2,000 FCFA?
- has the transfer already gone out? Check your payout history.
If all three check out and nothing has happened after 48 hours, write to
support@friym.com with your @username and the
numbers of the orders concerned.
If your wallet is frozen
It happens, and the screen tells you, with the reason.
There's nothing you can do from the app to unfreeze it. Write to support@friym.com quoting the reason shown, word for word: that's what will get you a fast answer.
Your money is yours alone
If you run your page with a team, nobody but you sees your payout details, and nobody can change them — whatever role you gave them.
