Receiving a digital product

3 downloads, 5 days: what to know before you pay.

A digital product is delivered automatically, as soon as payment is confirmed. The seller has nothing to do, and neither do you: the order goes straight to Delivered.

The file downloads from the order's detail, in the "Digital file" block.

Three downloads, five days — and why

The limit, in plain words

"You have 3 downloads and 5 days from the payment date to access this file." Once either runs out, access closes.

Three downloads isn't stinginess: it's what separates a purchase from a distribution channel. Without a quota, a single buyer could take the file indefinitely and feed it elsewhere, for purposes other than their own. Three is plenty to cover a failed download, a change of phone or a backup — and not much more.

The seller, for their part, would have no way of noticing. So the limit protects them at a point where they can't defend themselves.

In practice, the consequence fits in one sentence: download as soon as you've paid, and put the file somewhere you'll find it again — not in a temporary folder your phone will clear out.

The three possible refusals

"Download limit reached"The quota is used upWrite to us with your order number
"Expires in {n} day(s)", then "Link expired"The 5 days have run outThe deadline has passed. Write to us
"File not found — contact support"This isn't normalWrite to support@friym.com

This is the most misunderstood part of this screen, and it's better known before you buy than discovered afterwards.

That button repairs a failure, it doesn't reopen a quota

"Regenerate the link" does not reset your counter, and it can only be used once.

It only appears in one precise case: your payment went through, but the download link isn't there. Outside that situation you'll never see this button — not to get around the five days, and not to find a fourth download.

In other words, it exists to fix a delivery failure, not to extend access. If your three downloads are used up or your five days have run out, no button will hand the file back.

If the deadline or the quota have passed

Write to support@friym.com with your order number and what you tried. What Friym can do at that stage depends on the case: don't count on an automatic reopening.
