Contacting a seller

Reaching them, and what to ask.

You reach a seller through Friym messaging, from their page's profile. The link to the page is on the product listing and on the order's detail.

It's almost always the fastest route: Friym handles neither delivery nor the exchanges between buyer and seller. An order running late, an appointment to arrange, a detail to check — those get sorted between you first.

Give them something to answer

A seller who receives "hi, where's my order?" has to go looking. Put this in your first message:

  • your order number;
  • what you ordered, and when;
  • your question, precisely.

If your message sits unanswered

It may be in their Requests, a queue plenty of people never look at. See Message requests.

On a page run by a team, the inbox is shared: several people can answer you, and one reply is enough to mark the thread read for the whole team.

Physical product: they may call you

For a physical product, it's your phone number that lets the seller reach you when it's time to deliver — not messaging. The order's detail even shows them the advice: "Call the recipient before shipping to confirm the drop-off point."

Keep your phone reachable in the days after ordering.

If the seller doesn't answer

After a few days without a reply, write to us: see My order never arrived.
