Reopening a page or an account
Coming back within 30 days.
A closure is reversible for 30 days. The two routes aren't the same.
Reopening an account
Sign in as usual. After the 6-digit code, Friym tells you about the closure, the deadline, and offers to reopen.
Why you only learn this after the code
Announcing it as soon as the address is typed would confirm the account exists to anyone who simply knows your email address. You have to prove you hold the inbox first.
Reopening a page
Switch to your personal profile, then:
Profile tab → ⚙️ → "General" → "Closed pages" → "Reopen this page"
You'll need recent proof of identity.
A closed page doesn't appear in the profile switcher
That's intended: you don't post under a closed identity. The "Closed pages" screen is the only route back.
The screen shows each page with "Closed on {date}" and "Can be reopened until {date}".
If the deadline has passed
Friym tells you rather than failing for no reason. Past the 30 days:
- the closure is permanent;
- the
@usernamehas become available — somebody else may have taken it.
There's no recovery beyond that point.
