Understanding the feed
What decides what you see, and what you can actually change.
Your feed is the Home tab. It has no tabs inside it: there's only one, and Friym decides the order of the posts.
The word "Popular" at the top is a title, not a choice among others. There's no "recent" or "chronological" feed sitting next to it, nothing to swipe to, and nothing you're failing to find.
What feeds your feed
Two things: the accounts you follow, and the topics you picked when you created your account.
So those are the two levers you actually have. Following someone brings them into your feed; unfollowing takes them out. Reacting, commenting and reposting also weigh on what Friym shows you next.
What you don't have: there's no "hide this post" and no "show me less of this". And the exact ordering isn't explained anywhere in the app — we'd rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
Videos play one after another
Tapping a video opens a full-screen player that moves on to the next one when that video ends.
The player remembers where you came from: the feed, or a profile. That isn't a detail, because what comes next isn't the same in both cases — from a profile, you stay with the same person.
When your feed looks empty
There are two very different situations here, and Friym takes care not to confuse them.
If it's still loading, or if your connection dropped, you see grey cards waiting. That means "hasn't arrived yet", not "there's nothing".
If your feed really is empty, a screen says so plainly. In that case the answer is to follow a few creators: see Following creators.
Why the distinction matters
Announcing "no posts" to someone whose network has just dropped would be a lie. The waiting cards exist for exactly that reason.
Your own post
It appears at the top of the feed as soon as it's ready, without waiting for the feed to reload. While it's uploading, a progress bar shows and you can carry on reading: nothing blocks you.
