The Panel
Where to find a Friym announcement again, even weeks later.
Profile tab → ⚙️ → "General" → "Panel"
"Everything Friym announces to you": new features, maintenance windows, and changes to the terms. A dot marks unread messages.
What makes it a useful screen
It's the one place in the app where an announcement stays:
"Nothing to read yet — New features, maintenance windows and changes to our terms land here — and stay, even once they are over."
Each message carries its label: "Unread" or "Over".
This is where to look when an announcement passed you by
"I missed something", "what was that message?", "I never got the notification": in all three cases, the announcement is here. A push notification can fail to arrive, or get swiped away. The Panel keeps everything.
Some messages ask for a gesture
Two buttons can appear at the foot of a message: "Got it" or "I accept". The second one commits you — it's the one used for changes to the terms.
If your acceptance doesn't go through: "Your acceptance wasn't recorded. Check your connection and try again." Nothing is lost, the message stays in the list.
What the Panel isn't
Not your feed, not your notifications
No platform message ever enters your feed: don't look for a Friym announcement between two posts, it will never be there.
And it isn't the Activity screen either — the one behind the 🔔, which tells you who liked, commented or bought. See Managing your notifications.
The legal documents are elsewhere
The Panel tells you a term is changing. The text itself is on legal.friym.com —
see Friym's legal documents.
