What's not allowed on Friym
The behaviour that leads to a penalty.
Friym is a network where people post and sell. So the rules cover both.
On the content side
The reporting reasons say most of what has no place here:
- spam and repeated posting;
- hate speech or harassment;
- sexual content;
- violence or disturbing content;
- using someone else's work without permission;
- impersonation — see Someone is pretending to be me.
On the selling side
- Scams or attempted fraud. By opening a shop, every seller accepts that "any fraudulent activity will result in the permanent suspension of your store".
- Counterfeits or fake brands.
- Items prohibited from sale.
- Not delivering what was sold. The seller's first commitment is: "You agree to deliver products and services as described."
Fraud isn't on the progressive scale
Ordinary penalties climb in steps — warning, 24h, 7 days. Commercial fraud, on the other hand, leads to permanent suspension of the shop.
Not forbidden, but worth attention
Messages are not end-to-end encrypted: don't circulate anything there that nobody else should read. See Messages aren't encrypted.
Nobody at Friym will ever ask you for your 6-digit code or a recovery code. Anyone who does is trying to take your account: report them.
Paying outside Friym isn't protected
If a seller offers to settle outside the app, no order exists, nothing can be tracked, and Friym can't settle any dispute. See Accepted payment methods.
