Opening your shop

The four activation screens, and what you're agreeing to.

Switch to your page → its profile → "Open my shop"

The order surprises everyone: you open a shop from the page's profile, not from the settings. And you have to be its owner — this is one of the five things that can't be delegated: no team member can switch it on for you.

Once the shop is open, the permanent entry is elsewhere:

Profile tab → ⚙️ → "Shop and earnings" → "My shop"

The four screens

"Sell directly to your community"

"Friym lets you sell your products and services without leaving your community. Buyers can pay directly from the feed."

Three markers are announced here: 5% commission, no redirects, payout within 48 hours.

"What you can sell"

The three kinds, with examples: ebooks, templates, presets, courses, beats — coaching, design, photography, training, consulting — clothing, jewellery, cosmetics, crafts, food.

"What we'll ask from you"

Active profile · 5 posts · 20 followers · Mobile Money number · ID document: a valid national ID card, passport or driving licence.

"Before you get started"

The four commitments, to be accepted explicitly.

The four commitments, and what they mean for you

The last screen asks you to accept four things. They're short, but they have concrete consequences — worth understanding before you tick.

"You agree to deliver products and services as described." That's the baseline: what you advertise, you deliver. In practice it means putting as much care into your description as into your photo. A buyer disappointed because the item wasn't the one in the listing is a dispute you'll lose.

"Friym charges a fixed 5% commission on every sale." Withheld automatically, on every sale. Bear it in mind when setting your prices: the app won't remind you while you type an amount. See The 5% commission.

"Buyer-seller disputes are settled by Friym." This cuts both ways, and it's worth seeing it that way. When a buyer disputes, we don't side with them automatically: we look at what happened. A seller who keeps their evidence — the conversation, the photo of the parcel, the shipping date — is a seller we can defend.

"Any fraudulent activity will result in the permanent suspension of your store." Permanent means permanent, and since you only get one shop per account, there's no second attempt.

And a rule that isn't a commitment, but a fact

"Only one store is allowed per identity on Friym. This store will be permanently linked to your account."

In other words: the page you choose now will carry your shop forever. Take a minute to be sure it's the right one.

Then the waiting list

Activation isn't enough: five conditions remain before a single product can be created. See Can I sell on Friym?.

Once you're a verified seller, the shop screen becomes three tabs — Products · Sales · Revenue — with a + to create a product.
